About The Conference

Welcome to MBCC 2025

MBCC 2025 will bring together leading researchers, scientists, and practitioners from India and around the globe to explore consciousness through a distinctive interdisciplinary lens. Scheduled for June 4-7, 2025, MBCC 2025 aims to build on the success of its inaugural edition, pushing the boundaries of inquiry into the interconnected realms of Consciousness, Brain Sciences, and Cognitive Wellness.

The first edition of the conference, held in Dec 2023, was a prolific success with 6 plenary talks and 15 invited talks by esteemed researchers, practitioners, and artists. Some of the speakers included renowned personalities such as Prof. Stuart Hameroff, Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Shri Chitravina Ravikiran, Prof. G. Ramanath, and Prof. Ramasubramaniam. The 2023 edition also saw more than 160 oral and poster presentations.


Themes and Topics

MBCC 2025 will feature a diverse array of technical sessions, keynote addresses, and engaging discussions on a diverse range of topics. A unique highlight of MBCC 2025 is its deep integration of insights from Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Themes such as Indian Philosophy, Ayurveda, and transformative practices like Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation will offer holistic perspectives on cognitive enhancement and mental health. We invite extended abstracts and full papers on themes mentioned below, submissions may also be made in other related areas.

By welcoming experts from disciplines such as Neuroscience, Psychology, AI, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, and Computer Science, MBCC aims to foster dialogue and innovative methodologies that redefine the study of consciousness.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Full papers:

Submissions are invited for full-lengths papers based on original work. Full-length papers should follow the Springer template, and should be limited to 8 to 12 pages. The accepted full-length papers, if accepted, will be published as proceedings with a publisher (e.g., Springer).


Extended abstracts and posters:

Submissions are also invited for extended abstracts which, if accepted, will be invited for poster presentations during the conference and will be published in the web proceedings on the conference webpage. Extended abstracts should be limited to a maximum of 1000 words including 2 figures and 2 tables (references are not counted in the word limit).


In both extended abstracts and full-length papers, excluding references and citations, the amount of similarity to published sources should not be more than 15% and similarity to a single source should not be more than 4%.
