This workshop will explore the scientific and Ayurvedic foundations of Sāttvic food and its role in cognitive function, mental well-being, and holistic health. We will examine its impact through the lens of Tridoṣa (Vāta, Pitta, and Kapha), referencing classical Ayurvedic and Indian texts such as Aṣṭāṅga Hṛdayam, Bhāgavata Purāṇa, Kṣema Kutūhalam, and Bhojana Kutūhalam. The session will include both theoretical discussions and a live cooking demonstration, allowing participants to experience the practical application of these principles.
Given MBCC 2025’s multidisciplinary focus on mind, brain, and consciousness, this workshop offers a unique intersection of Ayurveda, neuroscience, and practical wellness strategies. By blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, it will provide participants with both conceptual clarity and actionable insights to enhance their health and cognitive performance.
I look forward to contributing to this prestigious conference and engaging with the esteemed participants at IIT Mandi. Please let me know if you require any further details.
