The session explores the impact of external stimuli, such as music, cognitive experiences, and emotional responses, on brain functions. Topics includes the neural basis of perception, how the electromagnetic response of brain components changes to shape perceptual and emotional experiences, and the invariance of consciousness under varying conditions. By addressing these areas, the session aims to extend our understanding of the interplay between brain processes and external factors, fostering innovative approaches in neuroscience and biomaterial research.
This session will also explore the potential of electromagnetic properties of biomaterials to advance our understanding and enhancement of brain functions. It covers the exploration of electromagnetic resonances of natural and engineered biomaterials, shedding light on their applications in advanced neuroimaging and diagnostics. The discussion also emphasizes the role of engineered biomaterials in facilitating neural regeneration and recovery after injury. Additionally, the session highlights electromagnetic resonance based non-invasive methods for stimulating and enhancing brain activity, paving the way for neurological treatments. Models and simulations of EM wave interactions with biomaterials are presented to simplify this complex topic. Another key focus is on leveraging electromagnetic simulation tools and software to process EM resonance data, optimize biomaterial design, and develop biomimetic materials that replicate the structural and functional properties of neural tissues. Finally, questions about safety, ethics, and the responsible application of these technologies are addressed.
Submissions are invited for full-lengths papers based on original work. Full-length papers should follow the Springer template, and should be limited to 8 to 12 pages. The accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer.
